Cathedral City Changes Police Chiefs With Radio Broadcast

On Thursday, Cathedral City Police Chief Stan Henry made his last radio broadcast as Chief of Police, ending a stellar 33-year career in law enforcement.

The broacast came at 4:37 p.m. when Chief Henry ended his law enforcement career with a final ?10-7,? which is radio code for ?End of Watch.?

Henry truly ended his watch over the citizens of Cathedral City, helping to make this one of the safest communities in the Coachella Valley, according to a press release issued by Cathedral City.

Henry was acknowledged with a heart-felt and moving farewell broadcast by the men and women of the Cathedral City Police Department. Chief Henry passed the duty and responsibility of serving and protecting the citizens of this community to Chief Kevin Conner. Chief Conner accepted his duties and responsibilities by acknowledging he was ?10-8,? which is radio code for ?In Service.? The changing of the guard is complete.
