Men Armed With Shotgun Hold Up Bermuda Dunes Circle K

Two men who robbed a convenience store in Bermuda Dunes at gunpoint remained at large today.

The suspects escaped with an undisclosed amount of money and merchandise from the Circle K store at the intersection of Washington Street and Country Club Drive just before 10 p.m. on Tuesday, according to a sheriff’s Sgt. Randy Vasquez.

One of the men was carrying a shotgun, he said.

Both suspects were described as white or Hispanic and 25 to 30 years old, with stocky builds. Both were wearing dark-colored jeans and jackets.

One of the men had a white hooded sweatshirt covering his face, and the other was wearing a black ski mask.

Anyone with information about their identities or whereabouts was asked to call the sheriff’s Indio Station, (760) 863-8990.
