Crews Battle Fire At Desert Hot Springs Automotive Shop

Cal Fire/Riverside County firefighters contained a fire at a Desert Hot Springs automotive shop on Friday morning.

The fire was as reported at 9:40 a.m. at the building on the 66100 block of Pierson Blvd., according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

When firefighters arrived they saw heavy smoke and flames coming from the building.

Crews managed to contain the fire in 15 minutes. There were no injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
