Off-Road Motorcyclist Rescued After 30-Foot Fall In Beaumont

An off-road motorcyclist who fell 30 feet down an embankment in a remote area off Gilman Springs Road in Beaumont was rescued by helicopter and taken to a hospital, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

The motorcyclist was reported down the ravine just after 3 p.m.

Cal Fire and Riverside County Firefighters determined that a rescue helicopter would be needed to get the man out.

A Cal Fire rescue helicopter airlifted the man out of the ravine about 4:30 p.m.

He was taken to a trauma center with moderate to severe injuries.
