Jimmy Angel Valenzuela, 20, is accused of shooting two men on Jan. 27 in the 900 block of Chestnut Avenue, according to Beaumont police spokeswoman Darci Mulvihill. The victims were walking through an alley near their residences when they were confronted by a man with a pistol, who fired several shots. The motive for the shooting is unclear, Mulvihill said.

The victims, whose names were withheld, are recovering, according to Mulvihill,

Valenzuela has black hair and brown eyes, stands 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8 and weighs around 185 pounds.

“He is considered armed and dangerous,” Mulvihill said.
