Coachella Police Investigate Body Found In Corn Field

Coachella police officers were investigating the discovery of a body on a Coachella ranch on Wednesday.

Riverside County sheriff’s deputies were called to the Prime Time DAFCO Ranch, located at Fillmore and 50th Avenue, around 2 p.m,, according to Cpt. Ray Gregory. Workers on the ranch had discovered the body outside and had called authorities.

Gregory said the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death have been deemed suspicious and Coachella police homicide detectives have been sent to the scene to assist in the investigation.

Police were not releasing any more information about the investigation.
