Charges Altered Against Self-Proclaimed Witch

Charges against a self-proclaimed witch were changed by the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office on Wednesday after her co-defendant admitted to pulling the trigger in the murder of an Apple Valley man.

The Friday the 13th shooting death of Roger Fisk in November in 2009 was part of an incomplete script being acted out by a self- professed “demon” and “witch” in Palm Springs, according to prosecutors.

Fisk, 57, was shot in the back of the next at the Palm Springs Villas condominium complex at 680 Ashurst Court. Prosecutors argued during Farquhar’s trial he had shot Fisk as he followed Williams-Covert into the condo.

Dale Farquhar was convicted of the murder in June of 2010.

Farquhar, who called himself a “true demon,” and his girlfriend found special meaning in the Friday the 13th killing, the prosecutor told the jury during his trial.

Farquhar told police they shouldn’t blame his girlfriend and that he suffered from schizophrenia and transgenderism, according to the prosecutor.

A felony aiding and abetting charge was filed against Williams-Covert in late May, which was changed on Wednesday to Accessory to Murder.
