Hemet Children Report Repeated Sexual Abuse

Three people sat in jail on Wednesday, accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting three children over the last two years, said Sgt. Stephen Mike with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Dept.

Deputies arrested Monica Silva, 29, Ronald Hurley Sr., 47, and Ronald Hurley, Jr., 22, after reports of the assaults were called in by several mandated reporters.

Investigators learned the four children, ranging in age from 3 to 10 years old, were subjected by the sexual abuse on a continuous basis.

The assaults happened at famlly’s home on the 40000 block of Stetson Ave. in Hemet, but they had recently moved to a new home on the 400 block of S. State St. in San Jacinto.

Workers with the Riverside County Child Protective Services Dept. took custody of the children, while all three adults were taken to the Larry Smith Correctional Facility. Bail was set at $1 million for each of them.
