Living Desert Worker Falls 50 Feet Dismantling Exhibit

A worker who was dismantling an exhibit at the Living Desert fell about 50 feet and was rushed to a hospital today in unknown condition.

The man, who was not immediately identified, fell from a tractor at the zoo, 47-900 Portola Ave., around 10:50 a.m., according to the zoo and the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.

Living Desert CEO Stacey Johnson said the man was dismantling a closed exhibit when he fell for unknown reasons.
