More West Nile Virus spraying planned For Cathedral City

Concerns over West Nile Virus will have crews out again Monday night in Cathedral City.

The Coachella Valley Mosquito and Vector Control District will be out with its trucks spraying insecticide to kill mosquitoes.

Two mosquitoes caught in traps recently tested positive for the West Nile Virus in Cathedral City, prompting the preventative spraying.

The first round started Friday evening near Plumley Road and Converse and will continue through Tuesday night from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
