University of California Riverside Lands On List’s Top-100

The University of California, Riverside, was listed 97th in U.S. News and World Report’s ranking — released today — of the best universities in the United States.

UC Riverside tied in the 97th spot with the University of San Diego, Iowa State University in Ames, and Texas Christian University in Fort Worth.

Harvard cliched the top spot, followed by Princeton, Yale and Columbia University. USC placed 23rd, tying with Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, and UCLA was 25th.

California Baptist University in Riverside placed 46th on the list of best regional universities in the western United States.

Chapman University in Orange placed eighth on the regional list, which was headed by Trinity University in San Antonio.
