Three Wrecks Slow Down I-10 Commute Tuesday Morning

– Three wrecks on westbound Interstate 10 near Bob Hope Drive today slowed traffic during the morning commute.

The first accident was reported about 7:50 a.m., and the three left-most lanes were closed until about 8:30 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol Officer Joe Zagorski.

A person with minor injuries was taken to a hospital, and at least four vehicles were damaged, according to Caltrans.

“They’re really minor,” Zagorksi said. “The problem was there were three separate accidents.”

One collision may have been caused by an unsafe lane change, according to dispatchers.
