The suspect, who was the passenger in a black CRV, shot at the neighboring car, a white Cadillac. The passenger was shot in the face. It was a graze wound, and she was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

The car that was shot at drove off eastbound on Ramon to get away from the shooter, and lost control and collided with a car driving westbound on Ramon. The passengers in that car only suffered minor injuries.
