Feinstein vs. Emken for Senate in November

***UPDATE: Elizabeth Emken, GOP, nominated U.S. Senate, California. Will run against Feinstein in November.***

Democratic U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein has easily won her primary election race, advancing to the November ballot.

The 78-year-old senator from California is seeking re-election
to a fifth term. She was first elected in 1992.

Early returns showed Feinstein with nearly 50 percent of the
vote on a crowded ballot that featured 24 candidates, including 14
Republicans.

One of those GOP members, Elizabeth Emken, has won the chance to unseat Feinstein.
