WBO will re-examine Bradley vs. Pacquiao match

Officials with the World Boxing Organization announced on Wednesday they will review the boxing match between Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley — a match that ended with a controversial win by Bradley.

WBO PresidentFrancisco “Paco” Valcrcel said the Championship Committee will meet soon and will examine video of the match with five international judges.

“I want to clarify that in no way this says that we are doubting the capacity of these judges, which we consider as honest and competent judges,” said Valcrcel.

Pacquiao (54-4-2, 38 KOs) and Bradley (29-0, 12 KOs)fought forPacquiao’s WBO welterweighttitle on Saturday night at the MGM Grand Resort.

The boutended in asplit decision victory in favorof Cathedral City native Timothy Bradley. The three judges scored the bout 115-113 (Duane Ford), 115-113 (C.J. Ross) and 113-115 (Jerry Roth).
