Police and special agents from several Coachella Valley agencies served two narcotics-related search warrants on Wednesday morning, resulting in nine arrests.
Riverside County sheriff’s Sgt. Mark Hoyt said the warrants were served at two apartments at 5:30 a.m. at the Rebecca Apartments, located on the 34000 block of Rebecca Way, across the street from Cathedral City High School.
Inside, investigators found a handgun, methamphetamine, marijuana, ammunition and assorted drug paraphernalia.
Nine people were arrested and booked into the Indio Jail:
Angelina Ochoa, 38, Rancho Mirage, possession of methamphetamine for sale, child endangerment, maintaining a drug house.
Juan Felix, 42, Rancho Mirage, possession of methamphetamine for sale, child endangerment, maintaining a drug house.
Irma Paleo, 43, Desert Hot Springs, misdemeanor warrant for possession of stolen property
