Thermal mobile home fire erupts in flames, spreads to brush

A single-wide mobile home fire has spread to dry vegetation near the structure, which was located near the intersection of Harrison Avenue and Avenue 66 in Thermal.

Riverside County fire spokeswoman Jody Hagemann said firefighters reported the mobile home was fully engulfed in flames with a quarter of the vegetation burning.

There are no reports of injuries.

Firefighters were battling flames in 113 degrees at last check.
