Suspected taggers arrested, post bail

Saturday (October 6) around 10:30 pm Sheriffs deputies responded to a report of taggers in an alley near the intersection of Highway 111 and San Pablo Avenue in Palm Desert.

That’s where they found and arrested Canyon Touchstone (22) and Anthony Tyers (22) both from Palm Desert. And, Matthew Chronister (20) of Garden Grove.

Investigators say, they are suspected of tagging 17 businesses throughout Palm Desert. The total cost of damage has not been determined.

All three men were booked at the Riverside County Jail in Indio and all posted $5,000 bail Saturday and were released following their arrest Friday night on suspicion of felony vandalism, according to jail records.
