Gun Buy-Back This Saturday

This Saturday, the city of Coachella is holding it’s first gun buyback event, to get firearms off the streets.

It’s a way to make the community safer, while putting some cash back into your pockets

Close to a thousand firearms of all sizes and calibers are checked into evidence at the Sheriff’s station in Thermal.

Now the city of Coachella is asking everyone in the valley with an unwanted gun, to turn it in.

You can get the weapons taken off your hands this Saturday from 10:00am until 2:00pm at the Coachella Corporate Yard.

You will receive a $50-dollar American Express gift card, when you turn in any unloaded, working handguns and rifles, whether they’re registered or not. Once they’re turned in, they’re processed through the Sheriff’s Department and then destroyed.
