Inland Empire gas prices inch upward

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire rose a half-cent today to $3.705, one day after falling three-tenths of a cent.
The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties is 4.8 cents more than one week ago and 15.9 cents higher than one month ago but 1.3 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price has risen 22 times in the 26 days, increasing 16.1 cents over that span, after falling to its lowest amount in exactly one year, $3.544, on Dec. 27.
