Coachella car crash sends one to the hospital
Riverside County Fire Department says a vehicle crashed into a palm tree in Coachella just before 7:30 Saturday night.
The accident happened near the intersection of Harrison Street and Ave 54.
Calfire says one person was trapped and had to be extricated. They were flown to a nearby hospital with major injuries.
No word on what caused the crash or if alcohol was a factor.
