Inland Empire gas price drops again

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire dropped Monday for the ninth time in 10 days, decreasing three-tenths of cent to $4.017.

The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties is 2.6 cents
less than one week ago and 26.9 cents lower than one year ago, according to
figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

However, it is 11.9 cents higher than a month ago, thanks in part to a
14-day streak of increases that began immediately before the falling prices
began.

The average price has fallen 3.4 cents over the past nine days, including one-tenth of a cent on Sunday.
