Cathedral City High School to celebrate homecoming parade today

Cathedral City High School will host its annual Homecoming Parade today in Downtown Cathedral City. The event kicks off at 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of Allen and E. Palm Canyon Drive.

The parade will flow into Town Square for a Pep Rally and presentation of the 2013 Homecoming Court. The rally and presentation starts at 5 p.m.

Expect road closures and delays.

Westbound East Palm Canyon will be closed between Date Palm and Cathedral Canyon from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. for Cathedral City High School’s Homecoming Parade.

Westbound traffic will be diverted to Perez Road.

The event is free and open to the public to enjoy. It will feature the Cathedral City High School Lion Football Team, cheer squad, Royal Regiment Marching Band, as well as all Cathedral City elementary schools.
