10 people displaced after two separate weekend fires

The American Red Cross is now helping 10 people out of their homes after two separate weekend fires.

One mobile home was destroyed and another damaged after a fire broke out in Thermal.

Firefighters were called to the Oasis Mobile Home Park just after 7 p.m. Sunday on the 88700 block of Avenue 70.

When crews arrived they found an empty mobile home engulfed in flames. That mobile home was completely destroyed.

A nearby home also suffered some damage.

The American Red Cross is now helping two adults and five children out of their home because of the fire.

No injuries are being reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

The American Red Cross is also helping three people out of their home this morning after a fire in Banning.

More than a dozen firefighters responded to the 1300 block of Blanchard Street at 8:14 p.m. Sunday.

When they arrived, they found a fire in the attic.

Crews contained the flames in about 20 minutes.

The cause of the fire is also under investigation.

No injuries are being reported.
