Woman And Child Sent To Hospital After Crash
A woman and child were trapped in a car after a collision at Highway 62 and Dillon Road just after 11 Wednesday morning.
The Ford Excursion was traveling Northbound on Highway 62 when the driver lost control, went through the center divide and rolled after hitting a curb.
The woman was wearing a seat belt and the child was secured in a car seat. CHP says that probably saved their lives.
Both have been extricated and sent to a local hospital.
The Northbound 62 was shut down for over a half hour while Firefighters worked.
