Blythe multi-vehicle accident takes another life
An 86 year old man is the 5th person to die from a bus crash last month in Blythe. The Coroner’s Office says Thomas Madrid died Tuesday at Desert Regional Medical Center.
Madrid was from San Diego.
The bus was heading from Texas to Los Angeles when it crashed May 21st near Blythe.
Authorities say it hit metal pipes that fell from a jack-knifed truck and scattered across Interstate 10. Five people died as a result of the crash.
