Bonnie Garcia widens lead over Glenn Miller

Updated results from the Riverside County Registrar show Bonnie Garcia widening her lead over Glenn Miller in the 28th State Senate district primary.

Garcia, a Republican, is a former State Assemblywoman. It now appears she’ll face Republican Riverside County Supervisor Jeff Stone in the November general election.

Miller is an Indio City Councilman and would need to make up more than 450 votes with about 1,000 provisional ballots to be counted in Riverside County.

Final results are expected on Friday.
