Hwy 111 reopens after crash near Mimi’s Cafe
Highway 111 was closed to eastbound traffic for over an hour Thursday afternoon due to a three-car crash in Rancho Mirage.
The crash happened just after 2 p.m. on Highway 111 and Bob Hope Drive.
Deputy Munoz with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said one person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The highway was shut down between The River shopping center and Bob Hope Drive while police cleared the accident.
All lanes were back open by 3:30 p.m., according to Munoz.
