Chop House Restaurant Closes in Palm Desert

Less than a week ago we reported that two of the longest running restaurants in the City of Palm Desert are no longer open for business. Tony Roma’s and the Elephant Bar. Now you can add the Chop House to the list. Operating under the ownership of the Kaiser Restaurant Group, the building, undergoing renovations, located on Highway 111 and Portola, will soon be full of staff and serving tasty food as it becomes Kaiser Grille. According to the owner Erik Morcus, “We decided to change the Chop House into Kaiser Grille for a lot of reasons. People are starting to eat less beef, starting to look at more options and they’re dining at a lower price point.” There is a Kaiser Grille and a Chop House in Palm Springs. The Kaiser Grille Palm Desert location is set to open in early July.
