Palm Springs named top spot for vacation getaways
A new report by Trip Advisor has named Palm Springs as one of the most affordable U.S. spots for vacation rental getaways this summer.
The city also recently named one of the top 25 destinations in the 2014 Traveler’s Choice Awards.
The Palm Springs Bureau of Tourism says they’ve seen a boost in visitors since the supreme court struck down California’s ban on gay marriage a year ago.
The bureau launched a new website that helps gay and straight couples plan their getaway desert.
