Hang glider hurt in San Jacinto crash landing

A hang glider crash-landed Sunday at a San Jacinto street corner. The pilot suffered major injuries.

Firefighters got the call at 1:40 p.m. to the north end of Camino Los Banos, near Artesia Street, and found the injured 53-year-old glider, Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman Jody Hagemann said.

He was taken to a hospital in serious condition, Hagemann said.
