Man arrested for homicide in connection to Indio shooting
The Indio Police Department arrested a suspect on homicide charges connected to the deadly shooting of Juan Carlos Hernandez on June 16.
Palm Desert resident Shawn Anthony Wynn, 21, was taken into custody around 3:35 p.m. Tuesday. Detectives believe there may still be more suspects on the run.
Authorities haven’t released any additional information detailing the investigation or what led them to arrest Wynn on murder charges.
Hernandez was shot to death while sitting in his car in the Lancer Gate neighborhood near Monroe Street and Miles Avenue around 10:30 p.m.
