Discounted tickets offered for 2015 Humana Challenge

The biggest discount of the year for daily and weekly grounds tickets to the 2015 Humana Challenge is available right now, but only for a limited time.

The two for one tickets provide up to $120 in savings and are available at HumanaChallenge.com for the next couple of weeks. Officials said the opportunity expires September 15, 2014.

You can save $40 on daily grounds tickets and $120 on weekly grounds tickets.

The 56th Humana Challenge, in partnership with the Clinton Foundation, returns to La Quinta January 19-25. It’s a 72-hole event and features 156 professional golfers playing for a $5.6M purse at the Arnold Palmer Private Course at PGA WEST (the host course), the Jack Nicklaus Private Course at PGA WEST and La Quinta Country Club, according to officials.

“We strongly encourage our loyal Humana Challenge supporters and all golf fans to plan ahead and take advantage of this two-for-one ticket offer because special offers on our daily and weekly tickets will not get any better than this leading into the 2015 tournament,” said Humana Challenge Executive Director/CEO Bob Marra. “The fan experience and the player field at the Humana Challenge gets better each year, and our increased attendance in 2014 is a testament to that. We want to share the excitement of the world’s best golf tour with everyone in the Coachella Valley and western Riverside County.”

Patrick Reed is the defending champion of the Humana Challenge. He shot nine under par 63’s in his first three rounds and finished at 28 under par.

Officials said since 1960, Desert Classic Charities, the nonprofit that organizes the Humana Challenge, has donated more that $56M to a wide range of Coachella Valley charitable organizations and Eisenhower Medical Center.
