Newsmaker: State Senate Candidate Jeff Stone

Riverside County Supervisor Jeff Stone sat down with CBS Local 2’s Kris Long during a live Newsmaker segment on Oct. 14 to talk about his campaign for California’s newly drawn 28th State Senate District.

Among the issues discussed, prison overcrowding, giving up a Supervisor’s seat, a road rage incident getting a lot of airplay, and opponent Bonnie Garcia’s false advertisement of an endorsement by the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association.

Stone and Garcia, a former State Assemblywoman, are both Republicans.
