Local Author Anne Rice gets set for nationwide media blitz

Just in time for halloween, local author Anne Rice is set to release her much anticipated novel which will add to her best selling series the Vampire Chronicles. Her latest novel titled “Prince Lestat” is set to be released on October 28th.

Rice says she is combining new characters with those in the previous Vampire Chronicles. The author describes why she decided to go back to the world of vampires after all these years. “It is hard to describe this character Lestat,” says Rice. “The vampire hero is more real to me than anybody I have ever written about and he has a way of coming back to me and tapping me on the shoulder and saying talk about me Anne.”

Rice’s previous vampire chronicles have sold more than 20 million copies.
