Humana Challenge supports east valley 5K Run

Humana Challenge has joined the list of sponsors who have committed support to the Run with Los Muertos event in Coachella.

The 2nd Annual 5K run will be held on the evening of Day of the Dead, Nov.1.

“We are committed to helping bring health and wellness throughout the Coachella Valley,” said Humana Challenge Executive Director and CEO Bob Marra. “Run with Los Muertos is a very unique event. We look forward to helping promote it and the culture of fitness that comes with it.”

Run with Los Muertos inaugural run last year tallied nearly 600 runners and 3,000 visitors to downtown Coachella.

“Last year’s run proved that the combination of health and wellness was possible amongst an artistic, cultural, and celebratory atmosphere. I think this year’s visitors will be happy with us taking this event to another level,” said race director Tizoc DeAztlan.

This year runners can look forward to a competitive run, live music with 2 stages, large scale art installations created by local students and artists, an art zone and more.
