Timothy Bradley Jr. honored with Palm Springs Star

Professional boxer and Coachella Valley native Timothy Bradley Jr. will get the 377th star on the Palm Springs Walk of Stars, organizers announced Sunday.

Bradley Jr. is a former WBO welterweight champion and a former WBO and two-time WBC junior welterweight champion. Throughout his 10-year professional boxing career, Timothy Bradley Jr. has won world titles in two weight classes and has faced a who’s who of top opponents.

Timothy Bradley Jr. was born in Palm Springs, grew up in Cathedral City, and went to Cathedral City High School. He helped start Cathedral City Junior All American Football and Cheer League for the youth where he was formerly the president as well as a coach.

The star dedication ceremony is on Saturday, December 6, at 12 p.m. at 110 N. Palm Canyon Drive. The public is invited to attend the star dedication ceremony.
