Firefighters in Desert Hot Springs responded to a structure fire on 8th Street about 7:00 p.m..

Firefighters say the fire was in an outbuilding and no homes were threatened. There are no reports of injuries. Fire crews were expected to clear the scene by 8:00 p.m..
