Coachella Christmas parade marches downtown
Newly crowned International Boxing Federation bantamweight titleholder Randy Caballero served as grand marshal of Coachella’s annual Christmas parade Friday night.
The parade featuring floats decorated with Christmas lights, festive bands playing holiday tunes marched down city streets and ended up at Veterans Park. The theme is “A Parade of Christmas Ornaments.”
Caballero (22-0, 13 knockouts), who’s from Coachella, won the IBF bantamweight title in October with a unanimous decision over Stuart Hall in Monte Carlo.
