Child found safe after crews search Palm Springs hiking trail
It was a scary situation for parents on the Lykken Trailhead in Palm Springs Sunday. A full search and rescue team was called out to search for a seven-year-old boy who got separated from his parents during a hike just after 2 p.m.
After about 20 minutes, the child was found by his father. Turns out the boy had hiked further up the trial without his parents.
The boy was not injured.
