Power restored for hundreds of Palm Desert customers on a cold New Year’s Eve

293 customers were without power in Palm Desert for several hours during an unusually cold day in the Coachella Valley. According to a spokesperson at Southern California Edison, the power went out just after 2:00 Wednesday afternoon, and it was restored about 8:00 for most customers. The outage boundaries were :

N- Candlewood Drive
E-Driftwood Road
S-Old Prospector Trail
W- Larkspur Lane

The cause is still being investigated by Edison.
