Cathedral City family hopes for safe return of missing dog

A Cathedral City family is asking for the public’s help in locating their missing dog.

The missing dog is Maltese-poodle mix named Shaggy.

Shaggy’s owner said he disappeared after getting out of a side gate at their home near Davall and 30th Avenue around 6:30 p.m Sunday.

“Neighbors saw him run down the street while we were out. We returned to our home within minutes, but we did not see him at all. Signs are up and we have roamed the streets for hours, but no sign of him,” said Maribel Haro, Shaggy’s owner.

Shaggy is microchipped and is wearing a red collar with tags. He has a peculiar hop with his back right leg.

Anyone with information should call 760-993-7073.
