Deputies recover 2 of 3 ATV’s stolen from San Bernardino dealership

An ongoing investigation that’s taken over three months is beginning to yield results after a motorsports dealership in San Bernardino was robbed of three ATV’s valued at $110K.

The Polaris RZR (Razor) ATV’s were stolen from Chaparral Motorsports, located at 555 South H Street, on October 14, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.

On January 28, investigators with the San Bernardino County Auto Theft Task Force (SANCATT) served a search warrant in the 6200 block of Sierra Avenue in Fontana and recovered two of the Polaris RZRs intact.

Another search warrant was executed the following day in the 3000 block of Sycamore Avenue in Rialto. Deputies said seven firearms, including an assault rifle, and ammunition were recovered.

The sheriff’s department is still trying to find the third Polaris RZR. No suspects have been identified at this time.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information about the stolen ATV’s is asked to call Investigator Paul Garcia at (909)388-4898.
