Fire sparks in bathroom of Rancho Mirage home

Firefighters responded to a blaze that sparked at a single-story Rancho Mirage home located in the 40100 block of Via Los Altos late Monday morning.

Cal Fire was called to the home just after 11:20 a.m.

Fire officials said the fire ignited in a bathroom wall. Nobody was injured and the fire was contained quickly. Officials said about 30 firefighters were on scene.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
