Riverside County schedules community health forums

With all the news about measles, TB, Ebola and other issues, health news has been front and center over the last year.

With that in mind, the Department of Public Health is starting a series of public forums throughout Riverside County starting Feb. 17 in Perris.

Right now there are 15 forums scheduled in Murrieta, Temecula, Corona, Riverside, Palm Springs, Desert Hot Springs, Mecca and Blythe, just to name a few.

The health forums will wrap up by mid-April.

The department wants to hear from the community about its health-related concerns and is using the information gathered at the meetings, along with the results of an on-line health survey, to put together a plan to address those issues.
