Home damaged by late afternoon fire in Indio
Cal Fire was able to extinguish a fire at a home on the 44-000 block of Palo Verde Street in Indio.
They got the call just after 4:20 p.m. First arriving crews stated they saw smoke and fire coming from a single-story home. They were able to put out the flames in about 20 minutes. The fire is estimated doing about $50,000 dollars damage. No injuries were reported.
