Fire sparks at Sky Valley RV resort
A fire burned in the clubhouse at Caliente Springs Resort in Sky Valley early Tuesday morning.
Firefighters pin-pointed the origin of the fire in the men’s locker room, but say it didn’t spread far beyond that.
It sparked around 5 a.m. Tuesday. Hours later crews were still working on putting the fire out, saying it was especially difficult to reach. They say the fire spread into the attic of the locker room, but the tile roofing made attacking the flames difficult.
No one was hurt, and no homes in the area were threatened. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Caliente Springs Resort is located at 70200 Dillon Road. Management said they specialize in Park Model Vacation Homes.
