Indio officer accused of releasing confidential info
An Indio police officer is being investigated for allegedly releasing confidential information.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department began the investigation last week and the officer was placed on paid administrative leave Thursday.
Indio police say the officer has been with the department for 16 years.
There’s no word on what information the officer may have leaked or when it happened.
