Around 3:00 on Sunday, President Obama left the Coachella Valley. This is his 5th visit to valley and his June trips are becoming a trend. He’s come to the area around this time last year and the year before. He’s also had two other visits, including one just 4 months ago in February.

This is the third Father’s Day President Obama has spent out here. Sunday, he played at Porcupine Creek Golf Course around 11 am after going to the gym. Saturday, he played at Sunnylands. He golfed both days with childhood friends from Honolulu – Bobby Titcomb, Greg Orme and Mike Ramos.

The First Family did not come with President Obama. First Lady Michelle and their daughters are on a trip to Europe – they too are headed home tonight.
