Lake fire now 50% contained

Weather helped fire crews gain the upper hand on the Lake Fire Saturday. The 30,526 acres fireis now 50 percent contained.

U.S. Forest Service says mandatory evacuation remains in place for Burns Canyon. All other evacuations have been lifted.

State Highway 38 has been re-opened. The area affected by the fire remains closed to all recreational use.

There have been four firefighter injuries.
